Blogging Content For The Beauty Industry - Generate More Traffic & Build Trust
Hey! I’m Laura, a freelance writer specializing in blog posts for the beauty industry.
With four years’ experience writing in the beauty industry, and an academic background in commerce, I craft content with a marketing strategy in mind.
More than words on a page, I write blog posts that drive traffic and sales to beauty sites like yours.
Why Work With Me?
Proven Ability To Boost Beauty Site Traffic & Sales
In 2018 I enrolled in Digital Worth Academy - a content creation and SEO mentorship course by two successful content site owners.
Their expert advice enabled my small beauty website to rank on the first page of Google for high volume, low competition keywords.
Over just a 3 month period in 2021, my small-fry beauty blog had over 52,500 clicks and 1.82 million search impressions.

2. I Learned From The Blog Content Experts
Digital Worth Academy content creation training taught me:
How to write, edit, and optimize beauty blog posts (to help real beauty consumers - not just the search engine crawling bots).
A formula to optimize every page layout and maximize clicks on call-to-actions.
Little-known keyword research and SEO tactics to rank higher in the search engines.
3. Business Mindset With Credentials To Back It Up
You don’t want words on a page. You want blog content that your target audience is actually looking for. Content crafted with a clear marketing strategy in mind.
I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce (with a minor in marketing) from University College Cork. Additionally, I have a master’s degree in economics from the University of Nottingham.
I still love the theory behind business and economics, and the idea of setting up my own business(es). But crunching numbers all day and playing with excel formulas isn’t exactly my idea of a dream job!
I always loved makeup, so I thought - why not combine my business skills with my true passion?
I started creating content in the beauty sphere in 2018 and haven’t looked back!
My writing skills have improved immensely since 2018 but my obsession with makeup has stayed the same.
I’d love to use my skills to drive new traffic to your beauty website and engage with your existing audience. Fill out my contact form and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
Creating Beauty Content Since 2018
While getting ready for nights out, my college friends and I would chat non-stop about the latest eyeshadow palette releases, our favorite beauty gurus on Youtube, and our desert island holy grails.
I moved away after graduation, and most of my new friends just couldn’t relate to my beauty obsession.
I missed sharing my love of makeup products with other people. So in 2018, I created my own beauty blog to find like-minded people and get all of my controversial product opinions off my chest!
But what good is a blog if no one will read it?
While Googling tips and tricks to write engaging blog posts, I stumbled upon Digital Worth Academy - a team of SEO and content creation professionals.
Their advice enabled me to grow a beauty blog from zero views, to tens of thousands of visitors per month! I sold my beauty website in 2022 to focus on writing for beauty brands full time.
Here’s a glimpse at some of my current go-to beauty products. Can you tell I’m a sucker for pink and nude shades?
